STC Performing Arts
Dance Company
Since 1994, STC Performing Arts’ has been sharing Asian culture through art and music. Dancers are trained in diverse styles that include Chinese classical and folk dance. They have performed at Disneyland, the Rose Parade, and at the LA International Travel and Adventure Show.
Skip Culton
Singer-Songwriter
Skip Culton’s passion for music began at 14. But, in 2018, the Camp Fire burned down his entire home town, Paradise, CA. It inspired the song “A Prayer for Paradise,” breathing new life into his music career—and a journey to help fellow wildfire survivors with Tzu Chi USA.
Bart Shatto

Broadway veteran Bart Shatto has appeared in Tony-nominated musicals War Paint, Dracula, and as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. He is also part of the original Broadway casts of The Civil War and Hands on a Hardbody. He is currently the host of the Mindful Eye at the Tzu Chi Center.
Rosa Martínez

Rosa Martínez is a Latin Pop Artist from NJ. In 2020, she released her very own self titled EP “Reina Mar: The EP.” Rosa’s goals through her music are to take listeners on a journey through her life, sharing her ups and downs, including through love, heartbreak, and finding oneself.
Justin Robertazzi

Justin Robertazzi is a NJ-based theater actor and performer. He has appeared in such productions as LaBoheme on Broadway, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Amazing Amadeus Mozart, and Tony Bennett with Kids America. He pursued a BFA in Musical Theater from Montclair State University.
Pauline Parkhurst

Pauline received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Illinois University and has since performed globally aboard the Oceania Nautica and Regatta. She has appeared in Kate Hamill’s Sense and Sensibility, Thoroughly Modern Millie, as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins.
Nicholas J. Reese

Nicholas J. Reese is a NYC-based performer from Wichita, Kansas. He has appeared in Thrill Me at the Little Red Light Theatre in NYC. Nicholas has also performed regionally with Music Theatre Wichita, the Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre, and the Ozark Actors Theatre.
Diane W. Carter

Singer
Diane is an R&B/soul singer from Cleveland, Ohio. With her soulful sound and vast vocal range, she has performed with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Rick James, Barry White, Natalie Cole, and with Ray Charles as a “Raylette.”
Marcos Loya

Composer and Musician
LA native Marcos Loya is a master of many instruments. His work has appeared in films and theatrical productions, and he has performed alongside Plácido Domingo and Madonna—playing her love interest in the 1987 music video, “La Isla Bonita.”
Tzu Chi Midwest Sign Language Performers

Using Buddhist mudras, or symbolic hand gestures, Tzu Chi’s Sign Language Arts hold a distinct place in Tzu Chi’s culture. They artistically share Buddhist teachings through elegant and graceful movements, spreading the Dharma with refinement and beauty.

Inland Tzu Shao Youth Group Orchestra

Musical Group
Composed of high school and middle school students, this Youth Orchestra shares a love for music as well as community service. In their spare time, they visit nursing homes and perform at events by Tzu Chi USA, hoping to share the positive wishes of young people.
Tzu Chi USA Headquarters Choir

Musical Group
Our in-house choir consists of nearly 20 Tzu Chi volunteers and 10 Tzu Shao volunteers, or members of Tzu Chi’s youth association. “Unwavering Compassion,” the 2021 Tzu Chi USA Headquarters Charity Concert, marked their on-stage debut.

We’re bringing emergency financial aid and emotional comfort to those whose homes have been burned down by wildfires in the American Northwest.
We’re giving rattled residents a shoulder to lean on with emergency financial aid after floods, winds, and power outages from Ida.
We’re helping earthquake-stricken families in remote, hard-to-reach areas get by with packages of food that can feed a family of up to 8 people for up to a month.
