On November 13, 2021, Tzu Chi’s Midwestern Regional Offices gathered volunteers to support residents of Naperville and Woodridge, Illinois, who were impacted by the June 20-21 tornadoes. Our team distributed financial aid as well as seasonal supplies in hopes of rebuilding the lives of those in need. The event included a holiday shopping center where attendants accessed free gifts and had the opportunity to boost their spirits. Residents from the devastated communities were able to have a restored sense of normalcy months after their economic and housing situations were impacted by the storm.
