To provide high-quality health care to the local community, a collaborative clinic event was held on March 16, 2024, at the Stockton Chinese Benevolent Association. On the day of the event, physicians offered Western medicine, Chinese medicine, dentistry, and chiropractic services.

On July 22, Tzu Chi USA’s Cerritos Service Center returned to its pre-pandemic face-to-face distribution system at Miles Avenue Elementary School in Huntington Park. Volunteers served nearly 300 families.
Tzu Chi USA Headquarters held a unique “Earth Day Carnival and One-Day Marketplace” on April 8 to encourage people to examine their dining and shopping habits, take positive actions to help the earth, save energy, and reduce carbon emissions.
The Township of Cedar Grove, NJ, held an interfaith prayer and appreciation event before the Thanksgiving holiday that united individuals and faith communities to exchange heartfelt messages of hope and love for the coming year. The interfaith prayer event returned to the Temple Sholom of West Essex in Cedar Grove, NJ, after a three-year pause due to the pandemic. Gathered together once more, people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religious beliefs shared how their faiths may vary, but compassion is without boundaries.
Since 2014, Southern California Cerrito’s Service Center volunteers have distributed fruits and vegetables in Huntington Park, Los Angeles. In October 2022, volunteers distributed uniforms, school bags, and supplies to students from low-income families.
As summer ended and back-to-school season poked its head around the corner, Tzu Chi volunteers organized an event for the occasion. The Happy Back to School Day distribution, on August 6, served a total of 77 students in gearing up for another year of school. Backpacks filled with school supplies, pandemic prevention kits, cash cards, and Tzu Chi love were given to their new owners, taking the weight off of families in need.
