After meeting with Tzu Chi volunteers during the Chicago Tornado Relief in June 2021, Illinois’s 11th Congressional District Representative, Bill Foster, arranged a special visit to the Chicago service center and offices to learn more about the charity organization.
During the Lunar New year, Tzu Chi USA volunteers visited fellow volunteers who could not participate in events due to health, age, health, or family situations. They presented gifts and good cheer to these missed members.
