Following deadly tornadoes in December 2021, non-profit organization Tzu Chi USA is hosting two distributions providing severely impacted households in Dawson Springs, KY with $1,000 in financial aid.

HOW
After providing an initial round of tornado relief in the cities of Mayfield and Bowling Green, KY in December 2021, Tzu Chi Midwest continues to answer the call for help in Dawson Springs. On February 11, a team of volunteers from Tzu Chi Midwest traveled to Dawson Springs, KY to conduct an assessment.
As a result, this weekend, our volunteers, both local and from surrounding states, will host financial aid distributions to provide severely impacted households with $1,000 each. This will be made available via cash card for immediate use. Care recipients may also receive additional care items on-site.
All assistance is made possible through the fundraiser, Relief After Tornadoes, now matching donations (thanks to the support of an anonymous sponsor) made up to $1 million until March 2022.
