FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

San Dimas, CA, September 9, 2024—Tzu Chi USA is honored to announce its 2024 Charity Concert, a momentous two-day fundraising event set for October 12 and 13 at Tzu Chi USA Headquarters’ Gratitude Hall, located at 1100 S Valley Center Avenue, San Dimas, CA, 91773. On both days, the fundraiser will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with the reception beginning at 2:00 PM and doors opening officially at 2:30 PM. This year’s concert will feature esteemed Taiwanese singer Christine Hsu, whose heartfelt performance is poised to inspire and uplift as we unite for a cause that serves our greater community.

The Tzu Chi USA 2024 Charity Concert is more than a celebration of music; it is a heartfelt effort to draw attention to and support of critical charitable services. The funds raised (both in the lead up to and during the events themselves) benefit Tzu Chi USA’s charity programs in the National Headquarters Region, including our medical services, educational initiatives, and disaster relief work. Each donation contributes to our ongoing mission of alleviating suffering and fostering hope in communities across Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, and beyond.

In 2024 alone, some of these impactful initiatives have included grocery distributions in food insecure communities; diaper distributions to families in need; health outreaches that bring quality medical, dental, acupuncture, and chiropractic care to underinsured and uninsured individuals; as well as disaster relief to survivors of wildfires and floods. What’s more, Tzu Chi USA volunteers work across multiple languages, including English, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, as well as other dialects), Spanish, and more, uniquely enabling Tzu Chi USA with the ability to reach and serve communities that often encounter barriers due to language, culture, immigration status, and so on.

Performer Christine Hsu, known for her profound artistry and moving performances in Taiwanese music, will grace the stage to offer a concert experience that promises to resonate deeply with all who attend. Her presence underscores the concert’s dedication to not only providing a memorable cultural experience from the East, but also rallying support for those in need.
