No, the Tzu Chi Walk calls on participants of all ages and abilities, and those who enjoy fitness as well. If you care about the future of our planet and sustainable recovery, this walk is for you.
When you’re pledging to walk, you are committing to support Tzu Chi USA – disaster relief efforts; reclaiming the future through sustainable action.
Yes, we want to know you’re walking with us and ask every walker to sign up through official registration, click on your location up top to register.
We will walk rain or shine, so prepare with appropriate weather attire. In case of severe weather conditions, the event may be cancelled/rescheduled. Once registered, you will be notified of any changes.
Take it one step at a time. Depending on your normal activity level, walk for at least 15 minutes each day before the event. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and an eco-friendly water bottle to keep you hydrated along the route. Now you’re ready to travel the distance for change!
Participants are free to stop at anytime. If you are unable to continue walking while out on the route, feel free to rest and take a break to rehydrate, or call it a day. Your safety is always our first concern.
