WHY WALK?
Tzu Chi USA, robust in its disaster relief work since 1989, is committed to offering compassion and disaster relief to families in need.
Steps for the Earth is an occasion for those who’ve been touched by our work in the past to reunite.
Plus, we’ll share our initiatives, tips, and tricks for a more sustainable and more mindful life along the way.
WHAT TO BRING
Help keep the picnic sustainable by packing water, snacks and treats, reusable utensils, anything you’ll need to enjoy a comfortable picnic in the park! Feel free to bring some earth-friendly games like recycled frisbees or other outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. Go a step further to keep the event green and opt to carpool with others in the community.
