We’re calling for your help. From now until June 30, 2021, your contributions will be matched up to $1 million – dollar-for-dollar – thanks to the support of a generous sponsor. Every dollar can make double the impact and can help save a precious life.
This spring, India saw the second wave of COVID-19 infections that brought death and despair that has been felt around the world. With bodies burning openly in the streets and families left to starve, we asked for your support to send what compassion and relief we could to help the people of India overcome this heartbreaking time.
Yet, variants of COVID-19 have spread like wildfire across Asia, threatening humanity’s chances of eliminating this pandemic while causing immeasurable suffering along the way.
We’re sourcing and sending medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) to partner organizations that are distributing them locally in areas where they are needed most and/or which lack other forms of aid.
As of June 1, 2021…

Since late March 2020, Tzu Chi USA has been sending medical supplies to hospitals and medical centers nationwide and giving charity to those most vulnerable, like the homeless, elderly, and the undocumented. We’re supporting healthcare workers around the country by sourcing, purchasing, and sending medical supplies in the safest ways possible, and opening up our charity services to those most critically impacted by the pandemic – including those with low-income, the elderly, the undocumented, homeless college students, domestic abused partners and many more. This may be through food, supplies, cash relief, and much more.
Approximate nationwide relief, updated as aid progresses.
