This remarkable charity event features the world-renowned China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe (CDPPAT), which has appeared at the Paralympic Games and been referred to as “UNESCO Artist for Peace” by the United Nations. The troupe will present its spectacular “My Dream” show that astonishes audiences worldwide and is a testament to how every challenge can be transformed.
Special guests Daniel Ho, a six-time Grammy Award winning musician, and The All-American Boys Chorus, “America’s Most Beloved Boys Choir,“ are also featured in the exciting program.
Tzu Chi volunteers and staff members from STC Foundation will perform “From Vow to Action” and “Song of Diligence” as well. At the invitation of STC Foundation, professional dance trainer Anna Ma prepared the 200 volunteer performers for the show.
All ticket proceeds from this THH2017 event will go directly to Tzu Chi’s Hurricane Harvey disaster relief mission. From September 9 to 24, $4,166,100 in Cash Cards were distributed in Texas, benefitting 7,333 families. Tzu Chi will provide an additional estimated $3,450,000 before the emergency aid mission ends on October 1.
Out of respect for their work after disasters, we are providing 1,000 free tickets to first-responders. Free tickets for hearing impaired students (minimum age 12) are also available, knowing how the CDPPAT can inspire them to reach for their dreams in life.
Please join us for the Press Conference on Thursday, September 28, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Two free tickets for all our media friends will be available by RSVP after the conference.
