2024-2025 School Year Registration

We will begin new student registration for the 2024/2025 school year on 3/23/2024. Please come to Iron Horse Middle School on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM for registration.

Tzu Chi Academy, Tri-Valley achieves WASC accreditation in 2024.

2024-2025 Enrollment

School Details
  • School hours: School begins on August 17th, 2024, and takes place every Saturday between 9 AM – 12:00 PM.
  • Placement Test: All new students (first grade and above) need to take a placement test. Further notification of test dates will be provided later.
  • Enrollment: Determined by the order of complete registration.
  • Age:
    K is available for students from ages 5 and up. Must be at least 5 years old before 9/2/2024.
    Pre-k is available for students from ages 4. Must be at least 4 years old before 9/2/2024.
  • Uniform:
    Students are required to wear uniforms during classes. Uniform fees are included during registration for new students.
  • Parent Volunteer Hours:
    Parents are encouraged to participate in school activities during the school year and volunteer for duties during the school year.
  • Old students: $500 (includes includes registration fee$20 and material fee $30)
  • New student: $550 (includes registration fee$20, material fee $30, and uniform $40)
  • Fee $20 (not refundable)
  • Beginning on 3/23/2024

Who We Are

Our School

Tzu Chi Academy, Tri-Valley was founded in 2011. It is the 21th Tzu Chi Academy in the US and the 5th in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our mission is to offer an excellent academic curriculum with combined interactive opportunities to help students build character and develop virtues.  Our objective is to effectively cultivate well-rounded global citizens with a humanistic worldview.  Fostering positive traits such as kindness, tolerance, self-discipline, trustworthiness, and integrity, while emphasizing the values of gratitude, respect, and love, is central to our mission.

We provide the heritage Mandarin Chinese language and culture program and humanity classes for students between 4 and 18 years old.

We also offer accreditation classes for high school students. Our Mandarin Chinese classes are approved by Pleaseanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore, Santa Clara, Livermore, Tracy school districts and Stanford Online High School to get high school credits.

Our school is accredited by WASC since 2021.

As of 2024-2025 school year, we have 16 classes and 271 students.
