Leonard’s Palazzo

For more than 30 years, Tzu Chi has brought love, compassion, and goodness across the United States. In our continued efforts to guard our communities here in the Northeast and relieve suffering, we are hosting a one-of-a-kind fundraiser in Long Island, NY.

This December, we warmly invite you to join us for an elegant evening with a hearty and delicious vegetarian dinner. During our special program, we’ll highlight our local charity programs, share stories of their impact, as well as offer you opportunities to donate to support these causes into 2024.

Bonus: what’s more, you’ll be able to purchase unique pieces of East Asian Art during our program, whose proceeds will further support our fundraiser.

According to Tzu Chi’s founder, Dharma Master Cheng Yen, “those who help others are the most blessed.”

Spread love and care with the Tzu Chi Northeast Region.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Vision Mobile & Medical Outreach

As the New York City economy gradually recovers from the pandemic, the United States faces severe inflation. Due to financial pressure, many people can’t seek timely medical care. Tzu Chi Northeast Region resumed its annual clinic after three years of interruption, providing free medical services to the public. Since 2019, the Tzu Chi Vision Mobile Clinic has also offered free eye exams and prescription glasses in New York City’s underprivileged communities and public schools.

Food Pantry

Tzu Chi New York volunteers provide this food pantry service weekly. Currently, an average of 2,000 households benefit each month. The fresh produce offered is made possible thanks to food banks, government subsidies, suppliers, charitable donations, and the volunteers’ care. Tzu Chi New York is grateful it can harness the power of love to relieve community needs and looks forward to having more people join the effort, and spread positive energy together.
