WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Food Pantry

Amid the pandemic in New York, Tzu Chi Northeast Region continues to distribute vegetables and fruit as usual. Tzu Chi New York volunteers provide this food pantry service weekly. Currently, an average of 2,000 households benefit each month. The fresh produce offered is made possible thanks to food banks, government subsidies, suppliers, charitable donations, and the volunteers’ care. Tzu Chi New York is grateful it can harness the power of love to relieve community needs and looks forward to having more people join the effort, and spread positive energy together.
