PERFORMERS

Tsun-Hui Hung

Born in Taiwan, Tsun Hui is an award-winning erhu player whose musical education spans more than 20 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from Ohio State University and has since collaborated with contemporary composers and musicians worldwide, passionate about sharing her love of music with others.

Li Qiao

Multi-award-winning artist Li Qiao’s whirlwind journey began in 1982 when she graduated from the Peking Opera Department of Yunnan Provincial Art School. By 1988, she became a disciple of the renowned Peking Opera artist Guan Sushuang. Since then, Li Qiao has captured hearts from across the globe through her performances, such as Tie Gong Yuan, Zhan Hongzhou, She Saihua, Zhuang Yuan Mei, Mu Guiying Breaks the Heavenly Gate Formation, Xie Yaohuan, Farewell My Concubine, Hu Family Manor, Legend of the White Snake, The Eight Immortals Cross the Sea, Drunken Beauty, among hundreds of other operas.
