Don’t rush to throw them away! Come to Repair Café!
Repair Café is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization with a mission to reduce landfill waste by helping people repair items that would otherwise be discarded, thereby extending the lifespan of these items and fostering connections with care and compassion.
To date – hundreds of people have brought various broken household items to participate in the activities, where volunteers work with them to try and repair them.
Items repaired include:
- Small Appliances (e.g., toasters, irons, vacuum cleaners)
- Small Machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, lawn trimmers)
- Electronic Products (e.g., clocks, DVD/CD players)
- Computers and Related Equipment
- Bicycles
- Sewing and Textile Products
- Costume Jewelry and Crafts
- Lamps
- Suitcases
- Small Furniture
This event is FREE.
Walk-ins are welcome.
No appointment required.
Maximum two items per person
No hemming services
