Students come from various backgrounds, including lawyers, university professors, university counselors, administrative personnel, real estate agents, and even housewives with immense passion for learning Mandarin Chinese.

Speaking with my daughter, who is in the Mandarin immersion program, gives me the opportunity to deepen my engagement and is meaningful for my family and me personally.

I thank Tzu Chi for allowing us to learn the Chinese language and the culture. I am part Chinese, and this has been a way for me to connect better with my heritage. Learning the Chinese language is also a way to build a bridge between people. Tzu Chi gives us that opportunity.
