Step 1

When you download Tzu Chi Connect, you will be asked what your main goal is. Select “Receive Financial Assistance” and tap the button to proceed.

You will see the “Direct Cash Relief.” Tap the button to continue.

Step 3

Review What You Need so you have everything handy, and tap to get started.

Step 4

Enter your personal claim code when prompted. This is a special number provided to you by Tzu Chi USA. Tap to validate.

Step 5

Next, verify your full name and phone number.

Step 6

Then see the summary of your financial assistance and tap to proceed to sign digitally (this is necessary to authorize the transfer of funds).

Step 7

Follow the instructions to submit your digital signature. Tap to insert, then review the terms and conditions. Agree when ready.

Select the transfer method of your choice…
if by Visa debit card,* enter your card info or follow the instructions to scan and complete. Using this method, your transfer should appear on your account momentarily.
If by bank sign-in, please follow the instructions to securely sign in to your bank account to complete.
Using this method, your transfer may take up to 5 business days.

Step 8

Select the transfer method of your choice…
if by Visa debit card,* enter your card info or follow the instructions to scan and complete. Using this method, your transfer should appear on your account momentarily.
If by bank sign-in, please follow the instructions to securely sign in to your bank account to complete. Using this method, your transfer may take up to 5 business days.

Step 9

Accept and you’re all set!

*Please note that this refers to a Visa debit card already provided by your banking institution and is not a new card provided by Tzu Chi USA.

Frequently Asked Questions on Financial Assistance

A claim code is a unique number that verifies that you are indeed a Tzu Chi USA care recipient. This is necessary to proceed with your transfer of financial assistance from Tzu Chi USA.

After filling out the appropriate financial assistance registration form on the tzuchi.us website, you will receive your claim code via email.

Yes. After a certain period of time, the code will expire, and you will need to contact us to continue. To avoid this, we recommend you proceed with your transfer of funds as soon as possible once you’ve received you

To receive direct cash relief, you must provide one of two choices: a US-based bank account number OR the number of your favorite Visa debit card.

Beyond your claim code, you will need to provide your full name, phone number, and either your bank account number or Visa debit card number to which you plan to receive your funds. You will also be prompted to submit a digital signature that you can draw in directly from your mobile device.

You have two choices to receive your digital funds transfer: for same day transfer, we recommend selecting your Visa debit card. Alternatively, funds may be securely transferred to your bank within 3-5 business days.
