Give teachers a chance to showcase their skills.

Giving Teachers and Staff a Unique Opportunity

At the Menahil School, our hardworking teachers and staff- nearly all of whom are refugees themselves- are able to employ their professional skills, earn a decent living, and find a new purpose working with their displaced community’s most vulnerable.

Well-educated individuals- who previously worked as professors, teachers, and professionals back in Syria- have the chance to bypass the factory and labor-intensive jobs that are most available to and exploited among refugee populations.

Designated teachers supervise student bus services, giving them free transportation to and from work.

On-site psychologists and social workers who are familiar with refugee trauma are available on every floor to help address students’ and fellow staff members’ mental and emotional health needs.

Having all felt the consequences of the Syrian Civil War, teachers and staff members’ share a special bond with students, providing everyone with a unique community support system and place for healing and growth.
