Food insecurity is a major concern for low-income families in Los Angeles, and paired with the high cost of living, the burden is truly an unthinkable weight to bear – especially for those with young children. To lighten this load, each month Tzu Chi volunteers set out in our Mobile Food Pantry with love in their hearts to prepare and distribute fresh food for these families living in extreme poverty.
