Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation (“we” or “us”) built the Tzu Chi Connect App (the “Connect App”) as a free app to facilitate donations to us and grants to those in need (the “Service”). This Service and the Connect App is provided by Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) informs users of the Connect App (“you”) regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information in relation to the Connect App.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not intentionally use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Connect App.
Tracking Via Mixpanel
We use the service Mixpanel for our tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Auth0
Our single sign-on service. Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials.
Plaid is our service provider technology gateway that connects your financial accounts and share their data with our app. You choose to share your account information through Plaid in order to get access to our services.
Stripe is our payments processor that works to help us accept payments through our app Tzu Chi Connect.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us and over which we have no control or responsibility. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Our Service may not be used by anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

What is a Privacy Breach
Tzu Chi does not store any confidential data on our server.
A privacy breach occurs when someone accesses information without permission. In the event such an incident occurs, we will follow the industrial Standard Operation Procedure (“SOP”) to mitigate.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
