August 29, Tzu Chi volunteers are uniting online in honor of the 7th month of the lunar calendar. We will take vows of Great Repentance, tap into our spiritual nature, and perform a ritual of purification to cleanse the mind of ignorance and replace it with compassion for all sentient beings. Finally, we will pray for peace and healing in our world amid the pandemic.
齋戒吉祥月『慈悲三昧水懺』經藏演繹，透過雲端相會，共蒙法薰。
全美慈濟志工，齊聚靈山大法會，透過大懺悔、大齋戒，洗滌內心的塵垢及無明，回歸清淨本性。
虔誠一念心大懺悔入經藏，祈求疫情早日消弭。

As of August 27: 20,897 of you have pledged to eat at least one vegetarian meal a day for 60 days.
That totals 2,262,617 vegetarian meals altogether, saving the equivalent of 126,704 chickens and 4,526 pigs!
至8月26日已募集到20,897人發願，進行每日最少一餐的六十天齋戒，總計募得2,262,617餐素食；
大家共同發願累積兩百多萬素餐，等同直接減少肉食需求量，拯救了126,704隻雞、4,526隻豬。
